Overview

I have had to cancel the original walk (Doynton and Dyrham) because it included a stretch of a narrow, busy road that was dangerous for pedestrians.
This walk will start from Cold Ashton (please park in the Parish Hall car park). It follows a lane down to a bridle path then along a long quiet lane (only 3 cars and a horse passed me on the recce), it is full of garlic which was quite calm until I told a couple of my jokes when it became very wild garlic!.
The return is beside Saint Catherine's Brook following the Limestone Link then across fields before a steep uphill back to Cold Ashton.
There are some very good views on the walk.
On the recce it was very muddy in places.
This walk is NOT flat.
