Overview

Starting at Low Mill ( car park, £2.50 for day), we walk through the daffodils along the river , past the  Daffy Cafe and visit the daffodil festooned churchyard of St Mary's church. We then walk up the hill side, eventually reaching  The Lion Inn ( fine views). We then descend to Moorlands Farm and walk along pleasant paths to near Medds Farm . We then climb the hill to reach Blakey Ridge once more before descending back to Low Mill. The two hill climbs are strenuous and because of the wet, muddy conditions generally prevalent at present, stick(s) recommended.
