420 bus at 9:44 from Sutton Station to Redhill or train from East Croydon to Redhill at 10:26 then all to catch 410 bus at 11:05 to Godstone. Toilets at Redhill. Those travelling between West and East Croydon should be aware there is currently considerable disruption to the tram service because of damage to tram wheels. The situation should have improved by Wednesday as trams are repaired but worth checking the TFL website for the latest situation. Pub lunch at The Bletchingley Arms or picnic. You can finish the walk at lunch by bus back to Redhill. The full walk ends at Nutfield Station catching the 15:22 to Redhill then train to East Croydon arriving 15.59. There is no convenient bus back from Redhill to Sutton. From East Croydon there is an SL7 bus at 16.09 taking about 30 minutes to Sutton or a train from West Croydon to Sutton at 16.34. On the walk itself, some short muddy stretches remain particularly on the walk after lunch and a stick will be useful.
