Great Ayton (opposite Royal Oak)

Moderate walk – some ascents and decents

Begin at the car park opposite the Royal Oak and walk past Cleveland Lodge, across the railway line and up to Cliff Ridge Wood. Continue up through the woods across the top of Aireyhome Farm and take the path along the top of Newton Woods. Then take the steps down through the wood and return along the bottom path of the woods. Return to Ayton via the Roseberry Estate.
