We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A varied circular walk across Harrow Weald Common through Bentley Priory Nature Reserve, returning via Stanmore Common. This is a fairly level walk with no stiles but some steps through woodland, heath and open space past streams and ponds, mainly on good footpaths. Some sections can be muddy so bring walking poles if necessary. We will be stopping for a short break so please bring a drink and a snack. There is the possibility of refreshment afterwards in nearby Grimsdyke Hotel.
Meet at the car park at Harrow Viewpoint, Old Redding, Harrow, HA3 6SQ . Parking is free.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 15 walkers and requires you to book.
