Overview

We cross the Thames at Hambleden lock go down stream before taking the road up to Aston.  Continuing past Aston, we turn up hill after the end of the village onto a path heading towards Henley.  As we enter open countryside, there are excellent views over the Thames.  Bypassing Remenham, we gradually drop down to Henley.  We do not cross the bridge into the town but return to Hambleden lock via the Thames path.
