Overview

Ascending to Ivinghoe Beacon for long views over the Vale of Aylesbury. Long morning passing Pitstone Windmill and via Grimms Ditch and The Ridgeway on the way to Aldbury for the lunch stop.  Return through the woods of the Ashridge Estate.  May be possible to go up The Bridgewater Monument (weather permitting. £2.50 or bring NT card).
