Overview

A linear walk from the A75 to the coast of Luce Bay via the prominent small hill which has fine views in all directions.   

Slopes are mostly gentle but the ascent of Knock Fell is short but steep.  If desired, this section can be avoided.

The walk is mostly on farm and forest tracks with sections of boggy ground and the odd small burn to cross..  Waterproof boots and gaiters recommended.

Stranraer Breastworks Car Park at 09:00 or Newton Stewart Riverside Car Park at 09:30
