Overview

Join us for an interesting and varied linear walk from the Hole of Horcum to Pickering. We’ll catch the bus in Pickering and alight on the A169 at Saltergate car park. We’ll start by descending into Levisham Bottoms with a coffee stop at Skelton Tower. Great views from here of the North York Moors railway line. We’ll carry on through Kelgate Stack and Levisham Wood. Along to High Blansby and Newbridge.

Park in Pickering to catch the 09:37 coastliner bus number 843. The bus stop is on the main A170 near Eastgate car park.

Eastgate Car Park charge is £6 for 6 hours or more.

THERE IS A STEEP, STRENUOUS CLIMB OF APPROX 1/2 MILE FROM FARWATH UP TO HIGH BLANSBY WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY HALF WAY THROUGH THE WALK.
