This walk will be led by Jack Hutchinson.
A fine scenic and varied 11 mile walk with stretches of moorland ,fields and woodland. Starting with a steep descent into the Hole of Horcum ,then scenic and mainly easy walking to Levisham. Then a steep, possibly slippery descent and re-ascent to Lockton for morning break stop. Crossing the A169 the walk continues through Staindale then upwards to the Bridestones for a later lunch at the 8 mile point. The remainder of the walk continues along a short stretch of rough, possibly boggy moorland after which there are 2.5 easy miles on the gradual climb along the Old Wife's Way back to the start.
