Overview

We meet at Bures to take the train to Marks Tey at 09:49. From Marks Tey we generally follow the path of the railway line back to Bures. We get to Chappel for lunch, a viaduct and a pub.

Meet at Bures railway station by 09:40 to catch the 09:49 to Marks Tey.

Car park charge is £3 and can be combined with the railway ticket (or by phone).

The train arrives at Marks Tey at 10:01 so anyone wishing to join here can do so and catch a train at the end from Bures; they are hourly at 49 minutes past.

We will stop at the pub just for a drink so please bring a packed lunch.
