Overview

Park in the lay-by 150 yards south of the Rainbow Inn, Middle Assendon (nearest Post Code: RG9 6AU), which is 2.5 miles NW of Henley on the B480. The walk climbs fairly steeply through the Warburg Nature reserve then along the Bix valley and through Stonor House and deer park, returning via the Assendon valley. Overall ascent 850 feet. BRING A PACKED LUNCH. This walk will be shared with the Berkshire Weekend Walkers.
