Stoke Row

Park on Main Road, Stoke Row nearest post code RG9 5QE. This is a pleasant undulating walk with an overall height gain of 250 feet spread throughout the walk. The walk is mainly through fields and woods with some stretches along quiet country lanes. We will walk to the beautiful English Farm, a 17th Century farmhouse with outbuildings. We might even see long-horned cattle and even some elephants! The walk includes 6 stiles some of which are quite high. Although we cannot park at The Rising Sun in Witheridge Hill we will be lunching there after the walk if anyone is interested in joining us. We can recommend the reasonably priced Vintage Lunch.
