Morning Walk from Birchanger

This 6 mile walk starts and finishes at the car park of The Three Willows Pub and Restaurant in Birchanger. Lunch is available after the walk and pre-ordering is not required. Tables have been booked for 1pm. The menu can be accessed in advance online, see link below. [Dog owners please note that dogs are allowed in the bar area, but not in the restaurant.]

The walk takes us through a varied landscape that includes the nature reserves of The Flitch Way (short distance) and Hatfield Forest. The pathways are mostly flat and there are no stiles. There are some hard surfaces underfoot but there will inevitably be mud! At the time of writing there are no extensive puddles or deep water to negotiate. The first mile of the walk will be repeated on the return journey to ensure safe crossing of major roads. The views are interesting from both directions providing a different perspective!
