We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy flat walk via the picturesque villages of Linby and Papplewick into Newstead Abbey Grounds which is the birthplace of Lord Byron.
We will start the walk from Tilford Road in Newstead Village. The car park is accessed by driving over the railway line, behind The Pit Pub.
We then walk along the Linby trail into the village of Linby and onto Papplewick before entering Newstead Abbey grounds.
