Overview

Walk starts from the Jonathan Hill Car Park. Coming from the Newbury direction, turn L at the Swan Pub (postcode RG20 9BH) and head half a mile up the hill towards Burghclere. The car park is on the left. If the two small car parks are full, park on Jonathon Hill on the left where there is verge parking a little way along. The walk is in two parts and you can just do the first part of 5 miles. This goes north to Greenham Common before circling back via Sydmonton Common to the start and lunch. The second part is 3.3 miles and goes south through Newtown Common and then west before returning to start. BRING PACKED LUNCH.
