Starting in the Lincolnshire village of Nocton, this walk takes us alongside woodland and fields, then descends to the hamlet of Wasps Nest. From Wasps Nest we follow a section of Car Dyke before returning to Nocton. Extensive views across fenland can usually be expected on a clear day. The route includes hard surfaces, quiet roads, farm tracks and grass paths which might be muddy during wet weather. No stiles. There will be a tea/coffee stop and packed lunch stop en route or at the end of the walk.
Due to parking restrictions places are limited to 15 walkers so you are advised to register early for this lovely walk.
Please register for this walk on the Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
