Overview

Park and meet at the Winking Man car park.

The walk involves moorland paths, woodland, quiet lanes and one short stretch on a busy road, although there is a footpath.

The path following Ramshaw rocks can be rocky underfoot. Although challenging in parts this walk is not difficult for regular walkers. There are several stiles.

Walking poles and warm clothing would be helpful.
