Overview

Brisk pace.  Awkward descent of North Downs, slippery when wet.  Diversion around fallen trees.  Mud (plenty near start). Stiles, some broken.  Good views from North Downs Way at the end of the walk, after a brutal ascent of the North Downs.    Leader unsympathetic towards stragglers
