Overview

A strenuous 11-mile walk from Wildboarclough climbing over Shuttingsloe through Macclesfield Forest to Chapel House, to Clough house. Then up along Cumberland Brook and south over Danebower Hollow to Three Shire Heads. We continue down through Gradbach and over Tagsclough Hill back to Wildboarclough.

This is a change to the original 12-mile route because on recc  (15-4-24) the new owners of Torgate farm have removed the rights to the permissive path to the Cat and Fiddle.
