Overview

From Abergavenny we cross town to Sunny View climbing through woodlands to Deri. Heading NW we hopefully benefit from open views before contouring around Pen-y-fal to reach the summit. After lunch we leave via a path to the SW in the direction of Mynydd Llanwenarth & descend through the old woodlands of St. Mary's Vale, crossing a stream & return to town.
