We are the North East Hants Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start at the village green in Tilford and head north past the village, bypassing Waverley Abbey and climbing Crooksbury Hill (183m all) where we will enjoy fine views over the North Surrey countryside. We then head south-east over Crooksbury Common and eventually arrive at Elstead village. From here, we head west and back to Tilford.
We will stop at a suitable spot for a picnic lunch. Afterwards, we can go to the Barley Mow pub on the green for a well-earned cooling drink in the sunshine!
Meet in the car park next to the village green. If this fills up, additional parking is available on-road opposite the Barley Mow pub.
