Mixed woodland and open fields with expansive views. Heading out initially toward Beare Green and returning via Coldharbour village. Some stiles. Some fields potentially with livestock so dogs on leads please. Mostly level walking at first but steady ascent up to Coldharbour village near end and short steepish ascent to the Tower. Steep descent (via steps) down to the car park. Potential to stop at the Tower kiosk for lunch at end.
NT Leith Hill, Windy Gap CP. Park either side of road but meet in car park to south of road. (known on google maps as "Shoe Tree Car Park")
