We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A circular walk starting at Bishops Palace, Abergwwili. A brief guided tour of the walled garden restoration project before our walk starts. Then via Sustrans route 47 to Carmarthen. Historic Nott Square, Carmarthen Castle viewpoint and a walk through town to park and velodrome, Returning via the Roman amphitheatre and route 47.
Road and cycle path walking on maintained surfaces. Town trail. good views from Castle. Wednesday is market day as well. Lunch in park, cafe at Abergwili at end of walk. Toilets in town centre.
Stout footwear, gaiters not necessary. Walking poles as required. Not suitable for dogs, except assistance dogs.
