All Day Circular Walk (11 undulating miles - moderate). Those requiring just a morning walk should arrange a pick up by like-minded friends leaving one car on the by-road behind The Chequers PH.
Meet 10.00 AM in the car park of the Silver Ball Cafe, Reed, Herts., SG8 8BD. The cafe is located on the A10 between Buntingford and Royston and is open from 7.00 AM for hearty breakfasts.
The morning route is a 6.5 mile loop through open countryside to the lunch stop at the Chequers PH., Barley, after which the return trip is roughly 4.5 miles.
Lunch pre-booking is required by 22nd May (see web link below for menus). Please contact the walk leader with your food choices in good time.
Car park of the Silver Ball Cafe, Reed, Hertfordshire, SG8 8BD. The cafe is located on the A10 between Buntingford and Royston. Please park at the far (south) end of the car park.
