Overview

Circular walk which starts and ends at Waterbeach station (trains to/from Ely, Cambridge North and Cambridge. The route crosses the River Cam, Stow cum Quy Fen and continues to Anglesey Abbey (lunch stop). Return is via Bottisham Lock and Clayhithe.

The meeting point is Waterbeach train station. Travel by train from Cambridge, Cambridge North or Ely. There is a car park next to the train station (charges apply) or a small free car park near the bridge at Clayhithe (7 minute walk to the station). Any queries please contact the walk leader James on 07773 428331. Bring supplies for a mid morning break and for lunch, although purchases can be made from the cafe at Anglesey Abbey.
