Overview

Waypoints:  River Mersey, Northenden, Simon's Bridge, Didsbury Golf Course, Rose Hill Woods, Gatley Carrs, Sharston, Hollyhedge Park. 

Mostly good paths but some mud must be expected.

There are no public toilets on the route. Shops only near route at Northenden and at Benchill at end of walk.

Dogs welcome - will need to be on a lead where routes shared with cycles, and on roads. Children welcome. There are various points along the route where it's possible to cut the walk short and get a bus. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
