General Council

The Ramblers is a company limited by guarantee, and General Council is the body of people who are defined as company members for Companies Act and other legal purposes.  Members of General Council are entitled to attend the annual general meeting, but remain company members at other times. 

Our annual general meeting is commonly referred to as General Council.


General Council AGM 2024

The 2024 General Council annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Saturday 20 April at the Birmingham NEC. The meeting will start at 10.30 am and will finish at 5pm.

The AGM is open only to Council members. A list of Council members eligible to attend the AGM is provided below.
