In 2023, we continue our longstanding partnership with Cotswold Outdoor, with a renewed focus on improving and expanding the paths, tracks, and trails that connect us to green spaces.

Together, we aim to raise awareness of the remarkable contributions of our dedicated path volunteers who work tirelessly to map, clear and maintain public rights of way for the benefit of everyone.

 

How does our partnership benefit the Ramblers?

As part of our partnership, Ramblers Members receive a 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor, Snow + Rock and Runners Need (T&Cs apply).

When you use your 15% discount, a percentage of the purchase price is returned to the Ramblers to help us look after the places you love to explore.

• Turning pennies into paths

From the 3 October until the 3 January Cotswold Outdoor will be offering their customers the opportunity to add a donation, of as little as a penny, to the Ramblers when they check out in-store.

We are incredibly grateful to Cotswold Outdoor for this fantastic opportunity. Every penny counts and these micro donations from shoppers will help us keep paths, tracks and trails open and accessible for everyone to enjoy.

 

• Clearing paths in the Cotswolds

In May volunteers from Cotswold Outdoor joined members of the Northwest Wiltshire Path Maintenance team to clear a section of the White Walls Way near their Head Office in Malmesbury.

Another brilliant day clearing brambles and making local paths more accessible is planned for September.
