Walking with health conditions

Manage your illness better and naturally boost your wellbeing.

Living with a health condition or disease such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, or asthma can make it more difficult to stay active. Yet getting active a few times a week can help manage chronic conditions, prevent them from becoming more serious, and reduce our symptoms. It makes us feel good too!

Illness can leave us with physical limitations, lacking motivation, or our condition can knock our confidence.  But walking could be the answer.  Just one short walk at a gentle pace can put us in a better mood and leave us feeling more confident. And walking regularly boosts our wellbeing and helps us manage our condition. Because it’s gentle on our joints, it’s safer than other forms of exercise too.
