September coach trip to Stourhead
The September coach trip will be to Stourhead on Sunday Sept 14th. As well as the Palladian
House and famous and extensive landscape gardens – all managed by National Trust – there
are many local walks available of varying lengths. (Photo Mark W). There are the usual excellent refreshment facilities associated with NT properties, and nearby is The Spread Eagle Inn. Much more
information can be found at the following webpage
https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/wiltshire/stourhead
The cost will be £20 per person and a booking form is in the July-September 2025 newsletter.

afternoon; the house closes at 4pm. Admission to house and garden is free for National
Trust members. For non-members, a combined ticket costs £22 – there appears to be
no separate ticket for just the house or just the garden.

stop at Mere.
