Walking in and around Southampton

Come along and join us!

We offer friendly company on our walks. These range in length and pace.  We have 5-7 mile half-day walks with moderate and brisker speeds on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, a 4 mile leisurely walk on Fridays and an all-day walk on Sundays with a longer lunchbreak (up to an hour). In summer there are also walks on a Wednesday evening. There is something for everyone so if you enjoy walking in Hampshire and the surrounding area then why not give us a try? Come and meet us, make new friends, and discover how walking boosts your health and enjoyment. Well behaved dogs are welcome on our walks but must be put on a lead at appropriate times

Newcomers are always welcome to try our walks: just turn up at the start and make yourself known to the leader. After 2 or 3 walks, if you feel our walks are for you please take up membership of the Ramblers Association. And please select 'Southampton' as your Ramblers Group. You can join a walk with any group but this supports our activities, and means you receive our Newsletters. (Photo Martin Farrow).

Details of all forthcoming walks are on this website and on Facebook . Please check the website as any updates to walks will be here.

Campaign with us - protect the places we walk

Walking is a simple pleasure that should be open to everyone, so we campaign to remove barriers to walking and we protect the places we love to wander.
