Join us this Sunday for the classic walk around the City of Lichfield perimeters, with a couple of route amendments to keep the distance reasonable....and avoid undergrowth! Pretty much flat throughout on mix of field footpaths, tracks, and a canal restoration project. Some roadwalking and approximately a dozen stiles.

Curborough Hall Farm Countryside Centre, Watery Lane, Curborough, Lichfield. The start is located a mile to the north-east of Lichfield and accessed via the A5192 Eastern Avenue. From your home location to Lichfield where take the A51 north until the lights at The Hedgehog pub where turn right onto the A5192 Eastern Avenue, signed for Tamworth and Burton. If coming from the Rugeley direction take the A51 southbound to the island with the A515 where straight on, still A51, to then turn left 400 yards later at the lights onto the A5192 Eastern Avenue. Proceed on the A5192 for 1.25 miles mainly downhill to turn left into Watery Lane, signed for Curborough, soon after the road flattens out. Continue for 0.45 mile to the first entrance to Curborough Hall Farm Countryside Centre on your right. Turn in and park up on either side of the road here keeping the spaces nearer to the shops free for their customers. There is a second main entrance 100 yards further along Watery Lane if you miss this first one. Follow the road around to your right once you're inside.
