Overview

All are welcome to our 2025 AGM which is once again being held at Northop Hall Cricket & Hockey Club.
This is a great opportunity to meet with group members, elect members of the committee, hear reports from key committee members and have your say in the running of the group.
After the formal business is concluded, there will be an illustrated talk and light refreshments.

Our speaker this year is Dr Steve Barrett, Department of Physics, Liverpool University whose subject will be "The Star of Bethlehem", a light-hearted look at the Gospel of St Matthew, the astronomical candidates for the Star of Bethlehem, how well they fit the account and whether known events fit the timeline of the nativity.
