Stag Walkers Festive Meal Social (Ramblers Members Only)

Join Stag Walkers to celebrate the festive season with a hearty Christmas lunch following a short morning walk which will be confirmed later in due course.

For this years festive meal social, we will dine at the Millstream in Hitchin where you can enjoy a wide selection of different Christmas themed dishes. See below for how to book and pay your deposit - and please note the prompt booking deadline.

Menu options include Roasted Parsnip Soup and Chicken Liver Pate for starters, Roast Turkey and Baked Sea Bass Fillet for mains and to top it off (If you fancy it), Christmas Pudding and Salted Caramel Chocolate Cheesecake for desserts. Please note this event is for up to 20 people including the host and is limited to those who have purchased Ramblers membership. We have arranged with the pub to have our Christmas meal at 2pm on Saturday 13th December.

Two Course meal - £27.25
Three Course Meal - £31.45

A deposit of £5 per head will be needed by 10th November (11:59pm) at the latest.

Plenty of parking at the pub or 10 mins walk from Hitchin railway station. Our reservation is for 2pm. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Millstream.

• DO NOT book onto an event unless you are pretty sure you will be able to make it.
• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.
• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.
• *TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.*

About Stag Walkers

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and South Cambridgeshire.
