Stag Walkers Social: Ten Pin Bowling (Ramblers Members Only)

Fancy a break from the trails? Come join us for a fun bowling catch-up at Stevenage Hollywood Bowl on 29th January. Expect good vibes, a few laughs, and some friendly competition.

All abilities welcome, from "I've got my own technique" to "I haven't bowled since school".

Bowling shoes are provided, but you can bring your own flat-soled, closed-toe shoes.
 
The event is limited to 18 people and the event starts at 8pm.

Booking your Place

If you wish to attend, please let us know you're coming via the Stag Walkers Meetup group by clicking the 'Attend' button on the event page. Please note that this event is limited to current members of the Ramblers (see our website for details of how to purchase Ramblers membership). Prompt booking is required.

Tickets are £16.50 per person, which includes 2 games, 1 drink and access to the VIP lane. This amount is due by 23:59 on 14th January. Payments are non-refundable if you cancel, unless someone else takes your space.
As tickets will be purchased through the group bank account, please transfer the suggested amount to the Stag Walkers account. - see our Meetup page for details.

Please remember to edit your RSVP if you can no longer make it so we know not to wait for you.

The Leisure Park is located a 5 minute walk away from Stevenage Train Station and local bus services.

• DO NOT book onto an event unless you are pretty sure you will be able to make it.
• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.
• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.
• *TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.*
• DO car-share or use public transport if possible. To offer a lift or ask for one from a fellow walker, please use the Meetup event page.
• FOLLOW NHS guidelines and do not attend the event if you are unwell.

About the organisers

Stag Walkers is a Ramblers group aimed mainly at people in their 20s and 30s but all are welcome and we have members of all ages. We run weekly walks, on Saturdays or Sundays, varying in length from around 5 to 15 miles, and we host regular social nights. Walks and socials generally take place across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and South Cambridgeshire.
