Overview

Ravenstonedale is a village in Cumbria, on the watershed between the River Lune and River Eden. and lies 4 miles (6 km) south west of Kirkby Stephen. The walking is excellent and on previous trips we have seen Smardale Viaduct which is now open to cross after a long period of repair, Frank’s Bridge and Green Bell summit in the Howgills. There is much much more!
