Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.
Our trip today is to Ambleside in the Lake District. Some walks will start from the road through Patterdale and the Kirkstone Pass. Others will be closer treks to Ambleside itself. There is half an hour extra to spend in the wonderful scenery of the 'Lakes' as we will start back for Newcastle at 6.30pm
Our coach will drop parties of walkers and leaders from their starting point and all walks will finish at our destination today.
There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from.
Details of the walks will be available from our webpage and will also be passed round the coach on the day.
There will be time to take refreshments at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle.

We leave by Coach from Claremont Road, City Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne. At the layby adjacent to the Great North - Hancock Museum. The nearest Metro station is HAYMARKET.
