Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.
Our trip to the North Yorkshire Moors today takes us from Castleton along Blakey Ridge and down through beautiful scenic valleys to KIRKBYMOORSIDE. Walks will all from this direction some near and far from the large and charming village.
Our coach will drop parties of walkers and leaders from their starting point and all walks will finish at our destination today.
There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from.
Details of the walks will be available from our webpage and will also be passed round the coach on the day.
There will be time to take refreshments at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle.
