Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.
A day amongst the Howgills, a unique scenic area of rounded grassy hills in the Yorkshire Dales finishing in the lovely town of Sedbergh. Walks will start along the road as we travel southwards from Kirkby Stephen with shorter ambles from the town itself.
Our coach will drop parties of walkers and leaders from their starting point and all walks will finish at our destination today.
There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from.
Details of the walks will be available from our webpage and will also be passed round the coach on the day.
There will be time to take refreshments at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle.

We leave by Coach from Claremont Road, City Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne. At the layby adjacent to the Great North - Hancock Museum. The nearest Metro station is HAYMARKET.
