This session is designed to support all walk leaders - new and old - to complete their walk-leader training in a group session where we can learn from one another.
We'll start at 10.30am with a short walk around Coalbrookdale, and then move into the Community Room at the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust, in Darby Road, Coalbrookdale. Please bring along a packed lunch and there will be hot drinks, cake and biscuits available from 12.30pm. The training session will start from 1.00pm, this comprises two components: “Walk Leadership Foundation Course” and “Preventing and Managing Incidents” each lasts about 45 mins and there will be some time for group discussions.
We’ll have a tea-break between the two sessions, so aim to end by 3pm. You are welcome to come for the walk and both training components, just for the walk, or either or both of the training modules.
