Meet in the car park at White Hill, grid ref SU516565, for a walk initially heading west on the Wayfarer's Walk before turning right and descending steeply across Watership Down into the outskirts of Kingsclere. Return route is via Hollowshot Lane, the grounds of Park House Stables and Cottington's Hill.

We set off from Windsor Castle along the Long Walk to the Copper Horse on Snow Hill; we then proceed past the Royal School and to Golden Gates and by the side of the Old Straight Mile course. Further on we pass Engfield Pond (a nature reserve).The walk finishes at Martin's Heron.

The walk begins from the car park opposite Hungerford railway station off Station Road near to the Railway Tavern pub, RG17 0EA / SU340684. The cost of parking is £3.20 for the day. From there we will go past the church onto the canal tow path west towards Froxfield, crossing the canal to go north near Oakhill Farm. Through Chilton Foliat we will go east to the Tally Ho PH at Hungerford Newtown for lunch, a distance of about 10 miles After lunch we go back down to Hungerford via Denford.
Please meet in Snelsmore Common car park Grid ref: SU463710 / postcode RG20 8UE. This moderately paced walk will take us on local paths round Donnington and towards Chieveley before returning to Snelsmore. Pub stop possible or bring food and drink for the day.
