Meet at Windsor & Eton Central station in time for an 11am start. If travelling by train from Reading, take the 10.25 service and change at Slough. As usual, please bring a packed lunch and a drink.
The first half of our route follows the Thames to the west of Windsor. After about four miles, we will turn right, passing the end of the Olympic rowing lake before stopping for tea and cake at Dorney Court Kitchen Gardens. The remainder of the walk includes a short section of the Jubilee River and Dorney Wetlands, before passing through Cippenham and finishing at Burnham station. From there, trains runtwice an hour each way towards Reading and Slough.
