A walk up the right side of the River Plym from Cadover Bridge, taking in the stone rows at Drizzle Combe. From Plym Ford we walk up onto the Moor with great views over to Sheeps Tor and Plymouth Sound on a clear day. We return via Gutter and Legis Tors.Hopefully we can enjoy an ice cream at Cadover Bridge on our return. A circular walk from Mary Tavy via Wheal Jewell Reservoir, Dead Man's Way, White Tor, Stephen's Grave, and Peter Tavy. A varied mixture of paths, open moorland, roads with a couple of steep climbs.

Catch train to Bere Ferrers at 10:28 from Plymouth (or from intermediate stations). Single fare is £3.60 with a railcard, or meet on station concourse at 10:10 if you want to get together for a group discount. From Bere Ferrers we walk to the River Tavy, then along to Lopwell where we cross the river over the dam. We then take woodland paths and farm tracks to Tamerton Foliot, where there are regular buses back to Plymouth. Please note - this is a linear walk.

From the CP we walk up to Ger Tor looking down on the Cleave then along the ridge to Great Links before dropping down to the Rattle Brook and returning along beside the Cleave. A chance for a swim or a paddle in one of the pools on the way back.

Round Millbrook Lake, then a stiff climb to Maker Heights before heading down to Kingsand and the chance of a swim or a pub stop. Another stiff climb to Wiggle, then field paths back to Millbrook.
