Start time 10:00
Moderate 7 miles / 11.3 km
This is the first of a series of 6 walks in the Malvern Hills range. We will progress steadily over the coming months, starting in the south, where are situated the lowest hills, but the steepist climbs. Some of the walks will seem relatively short but we will sacrifice distance for height. "What is this world of care, if we don't have time to stand and stare." In other words, if the weather is propitious we can enjoy the incredible views from the summits of these wonderful hills.
The walk visits the charming hamlet of White Leaved Oak, and the summits of Chase End Hill (625 feet), Ragged Stone West (833 feet), and Ragged Stone East (820 feet).
Coffee Break and Picnic.
