From the start a steady incline to Knappers Farm up to Acorn Wood, passing by Cliffords Mesne Farm and the National Bird of Prey Centre and finally back across open fields via Brook Farm passing Newent School.

The walk is throough Witcombe Reservoirs, passing the Roman Villa and on to the Cotswold Way. From here the least demanding route is taken along the Cotswold Way and throgh Buckholt Wood to the top of Coopers Hill of cheese-rolling fame. The return is via the Cotswold Way then down across fields with a great view and back to Ermin Street via a minor road. Parts of the Cotswold Way can be muddy after rain and there is a significant pool at one stile.

From the start the walk follows the River Churn to the lovely village of Cowley with its impressive church and manor. From here we walk through fields to Coberley, another attractive village and then to Severn Springs. Here we join the Cotswold Way to Upper Coberley (site of medieval village) then downhill to Tomtit's Bottom, Lower Cocleford and the River Churn again.

The walk follows part of the Monarch's Way and Macmillan Way and passes through woods and open countryside around Yarnworth, Chedworth Woods and Hampnett. The landscape history includes a Neolithic stone, Roman sites and a cold war nuclear bunker.

A circular walk starting at the Stamage's Lane Car Park, Painswick and following the Cotswold Way west to Edge Hill before turning north to Huddinknoll Hill and finally east across the Wash Brook (Painswick) Valley then south back to Painswick.

Starting from the home of Horlicks and the walk ascends to the Viewpoint overlooking the Wye and Monmouthshire then down to Upper Lydbrook. We then enter the forest to follow a disused railway line to find Greathough Brook to Piano Corner. Then up through a steep sided valley to Ruardean Woodside to the highest point of the Forest of Dean.
