This is an all day circular walk around Welwyn Garden City combining existing footpaths into a single, well-marked trail with information about historical points of interest associated with the garden city along the way. This is not a town walk. Instead it explores the countryside surrounding the town and incorporates beautiful woodland, Nature Reserves, Brocket Hall and grounds, Mill Green Musuem, outlying villages, far-reaching country views, and the iconic Digswell Viaduct.
East Herts Ramblers completed this walk in the Autumn as two separate walks over two different weekends, so now this is an opportunity to enjoy the area at it's best in the Spring sunshine as a single walk.
Refreshements will be avaialble for purchase at Tewin Bury Farm and Stnaborough Park. Feel free to bring a picnic as there will be plenty of of opportunitues to stop and relax.
