Linda Cook will lead a 5 mile walkStarting from:- The Copt Oak Pub,Hardwick Road, Narborough.
The walk is an easy "P" shape 5 miles, with only one stile. It is still muddy in a few places but it is otherwise OK under foot (I did originally plan this for the summer prog).Starting from the pub we head down a lane and under the whistle way footpath heading over pasture and track in the general direction of Thurlaston. We then walk parallel to the M69 for the length of a field and turn back then over fields towards Croft Hill.We walk around the base of the hill and onto Huncote, we then head back following footpaths behind the sports centre (This is unfortunately the muddiest section) for the last mile, retracing our stepsback to the pub.
