Please note this is from the Young Street Car Park at the bottom of the hill. Car park fees should have been abolished by the date of this walk. (Philip’s Surrey Street Atlas 95 3A). Figure of 8 starting from the CP passing along the Mole, then a moderate gradient up to Norbury House before continuing down to Roaringhouse Farm . Then to Crab Tree Cottages, returning via the Saw Mill and Updown Wood and then a steep slope down to return to the CP. Mostly undulating paths through woodland, could be muddy in a few places but general good going.

Starting from Starveall Corner CP. Leith Hill Lane (Philip’s Surrey Street Atlas 156 A3, Postcode RH5 6LU). Walk to Leith Hill Tower, by the gentle route, then down to Leith Hill Place, the early home of Ralph Vaughan Williams. Walking along some of the Greensand Way through woodland and farmland. Some gradients but not too strenuous. One fairly steep downhill but is stepped with a hand rail. Please note the Post Code is for Tanhurst Lane.

A 3 mile walk starting from Bushy Park Diana Fountain Car Park (Philip’s Surrey Street Atlas page 37 A7/TW11 0EW), visiting Garricks Temple, and back via some pavements but mostly the park. Refreshments in the Pheasantry near end of walk. Pause by the river at the Temple. One main road at proper crossing. Thespians welcome.

Joint walk with Sutton and Wandle Group. Meet at Woldingham Station (Philip’s Surrey Street Atlas 101 D5, postcode CR3 7LT). Parking north of station free on Sundays and also in Church Road. Circular walk via Woldingham school, Winders Hill, Devils Hill, back via valley to station. Refeshment stop at the Dene.

Start at Shere carpark (Philip’s Surrey Street Atlas 133 A4, Post Code GU5 9HE). Clockwise walk via St Jame’s church, Gomshall, Towerhill Lane, Jesses Lane, Lawbrook House, Cotterells Farm, Ponds Lane and Little London. 4 styles. Uphill slopes early on but no steep hills.

Start: Meet at Broadstone Car Park, Colemans Hatch Rd, Wych Cross. Take A22 south from Forest Row. At Wych Cross crossroads, turn left signed Hartfield, drive past Visitors Centre to large Car park on left. (just past RH18 5JP) OS Exp. 135. Circular walk round the best views on the Ashdown forest. Via Newbridge, Gills Lap (Winnie the Pooh), Greenwood Gate Clump, Camp Hill, Friends clump, Nutley windmill, Millbrook car park (possible ice cream stop), Raven wood, Visitors centre. Stops midmorning and lunchtime (bring coffee etc. and a packed lunch, possible pub stop after walk.
