Away from the traffic, you will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the New Forest on this walk through coniferous and deciduous woodland. The route is mostly along firm tracks and paths with only a few gentle climbs, making it a relatively easy walk. Map:OS Explorer OL22.

A New Forest - mostly heath - walk from Ashley Walk car park to Picket Corner and via Hampton Ridge to Frogham, where lunch may be taken at The Foresters - or picnic. Then down to the famous Abbots Well and back to the car park via Burnt Balls and Ditchend Bottom. Wonderful views across the valleys.

Moderate 10.4 miles / 16.7 km
A moderate / briskly paced walk, descending from Pepperbox Hill across the cultivated downs to the River Avon at Downton. Then alongside the river until finally tackling the ascent, back from the valley towards the peak of Pepperbox Hill. Great care will be required when crossing A36.
A packed lunch will be needed. The walk is on mostly foopaths and tracks, with limited use of tarmacadam. There is one stile with a dog friendly gate. Map: OS Explorer 131.

A circular walk via Whiteparish Common and Melchet Court through woods and fields near Hampshire's border with Wiltshire. Easy terrain with 4 stiles. Small dogs welcome.
Possible lunch at the end at The Landford Poacher on the A36.

This is the first half of a 2-part figure-of-eight walk. Walkers can opt to go on either walk or the combination of the 2 walks. This walk takes us along town paths before heading out through farmland to the delightful village of Greywell. From there, we head back along the Basingstoke Canal to the start for a picnic lunch (picnic tables available). There are some stiles so not suitable for walkers with larger dogs. This is the second half of a 2-part figure-of-eight walk. Walkers can opt to go on either walk or the combination of the 2 walks. This walk takes us out of Odiham to open farmland and then through woodland towards Dogmersfield. We will take a detour from the main route for a tea/coffee stop at the beautiful Tundry Pond. From there we turn west along the Basingstoke Canal where we may see canal boats and other forms of water traffic winding their way slowly along the canal. With just one easy stile the walk is suitable for walkers with dogs. Anyone joining us for just the afternoon, can arrive early for a picnic on the canal-side picnic tables at the start.
