Meeting point : Buckden car park .. charge £? .. (RHS on far side of village) BD23 5JA : walk will start at 10.30hrs : leader = Robin. From Bucken, we follow the River Wharfe valley through Hubberholme and up to Yockenthwaite : after a short climb, we follow the ridge along to Cray and then after another short climb, descend back to our starting point via Buckden rake. Stunning walk / views .. well worth the extra travelling. 7.5 miles mainly easy walking with a couple of gentle climbs thrown in ! Boots recommended + walking poles if you normally use them.
Bring a butty ! (there is a nice pub in Cray if anyone fancies an afternoon tipple)

Gradual climb up to Great Edge on the eastern side of the valley followed by a long/slow decent back down to the canal before returning to start point . Super 360’ panoramic views well worth the slow / gradual climb ! Bring a butty !

Starting point : travelling west on the A65 towards Clapham, take the first right turn for Austwick (Graystonber Lane) and park on the RHS by the small bridge as you enter Austwick village. The walk will start at 10.00 hours based on setting off from Plantation Street car park at 09.00 hrs. (members are still welcome to meet at the starting point but please note the earlier time)
Leader = Robin : 7.5 mile circular walk taking in Wharfe Woods, Wharfe and Clapham before returning to Austwick. Gentle / undulating route apart from short / steep climb up to Wharfe woods ( some steps involved) : excellent views and hopefully wild flowers around Wharfe Woods. Bring a butty.

Leader = Stuart.8 mile circular walk following the River Brock (bluebells out hopefully) then on to Inglewhite (lunch stop) before the long/gradual climb back to Beacon Fell (the last mile is a little steeper ! ) : moderate.
