Coach Trip - August
This year's coach trip is being organised for 17th of August. Two walks will be offered in North Yorkshire. Walk (a) will be a linear walk starting at the car park at the Hole of Horcum over the North York Moors taking in the 2 villages of Lockton and Levisham. It is approximately 10 miles with a climb of 347 metres. Walk (b) is a circular short walk from Pickering for approximately 6 miles.
The bus will leave 8.00am from Winlaton Library, there will also be a pickup at the Southbound Washington Services at 8.20am, and drop off on the Northbound on the return journey.
The coach will leave Pickering at 5.30pm
The ancient market town of Pickering has a medieval castle, museum and an abundance of cafe's, tearooms, bars and lots of local crafts and antiques shops. If you would like to visit Pickering for the day please join us!

Please arrive in good time, as all walks start promptly at 10am.
If there is doubt about the weather, please contact the walks leader before setting off. Unfortunately, there are no dogs permitted on the group's walks (except registered assistance dogs) and if you take a mobile phone, please use it with consideration for others.
Some members meet informally at a local teashop at the end of walks, please feel free to join us.
